★ No one has ever said that Hiroki will get back to NEWS/Kanjani8 if the concerts go well. I don't get why everyone gets "group" to "groups" and even more "ex-groups". Because that's not what's said. People have to remember that it's Johnny who said this, he changes his mind all the time and to understand what he means with anything he says is an impossible task if you ask me. So people should just stop it. Not only because it's annoying, but because if you think this and that you get your hopes up over something you created yourself - if it would end up not true you'll get really disappointed and/or sad. And then you'll hate on the management in your posts because they didn't do what you wanted - when they never really said any of that. Not saying that the management or Johnny will ever read your post but man, for us realistic people it's just a little bit annoying to read. :b

★ While this is a good way to see how popular Hiroki is, see how many people will try out for the tickets and so on, I don't really think it's the best way. Though I can't come up with an example of how to do it myself. But to put Hiroki in a Kansai Junior concert and give him two days in Yokohama with Kisumai, somehow it's just... weird and not a good way in my opinion. But then again there is no other way they could do it. Of course, if they're insecure, they can't put him in a new group, make him go solo or put him back in his old groups without knowing how popular he is. After all, it could make the whole group fall - fans can be really extreme after all. So I understand why they do it - but it could, indeed, have been done a bit better.

★ I miss Hironori, I miss him like hell just like a lot of other people. But it bothers me that people just tend to forget that he's not in Japan right now. They whine and whine about that it's not fair that Hiroki gets so much spotlight et cetera but goddamn. Hironori isn't in Japan, he's studying abroad. He's not THERE to get spotlight damnit. I don't get why that's so difficult to understand. I'm 200% sure of that once he gets back to Japan something will happen, but that's not now and not tomorrow but April. Unless he changed his plans of course. I wish people could just stop bringing this up. No, really. Don't forget about the guy, please don't, but damn remember that he's in NY now, 'kay?

Honestly I think that's a lame argument. Sure, a person might not know NEWS with Hironori and Hiroki, they might not know Kanjani8 with Hiroki and if so I understand if they don't miss them but to say that they don't want them back? The guys want them back, they want to get back, a lot of fans want them back, Julie want them (at least Hiroki :b) back... so many people wouldn't want so if it was a bad thing. Just because you don't know something, it doesn't mean it's bad. Simply because it's not.









Sorry about this... rant-ish thing. But really, some things just started to get to me quite a lot. I'll just cross my fingers for the best to happen. ♥ At least something happens.

Oh, and by the way? It happens really late and some people are probably wondering why it's happening so late. Let's put it like this. What if it happened in September and then after that nothing would happen for a while... That'd be worse. At least now we get something in December, then countdown, then shows in January and then it's a new year. It's 2009 and that usually means a "fresh start". It'd make quite a lot of sense to make big decisions and new ones in 2009, than to do them late 2008 when it has to do with a "bad boy". This way we don't have to wait long at all, whereas had it happened in September or August or this summer even - we'd have to wait half a year and then we'd complained about that. :b

...because I know a lot of people think what I say make sense and then they might end up believing this too. I don't want them too because I don't even believe in it myself to 100%. Barely 50% but even so it feels as if I should write it because... I don't know. I want, I guess.

Ryo's answer to that question (icon) should be "Hiroki" by the way, but obviously he can't say that so the public gets to see. Even though most of us wouldn't mind~

Anyway. So EITO will have some big announcement in September. I try not to get my hopes up, because this is EITO and this is Japan and everything is pretty big there. If it would be a single announcement, then that would be kinda big because it's more than half a year since they released "Wahaha". If it would be a drama announcement that would be kinda big. If it would be an announcement that their next single will be the themesong for "Ryusei no Kizuna" that WOULD be big because they haven't had a drama tie-in before. And then there's that tiny, tiny hope inside all of us who hopes that this time, this time when they say that they have a big announcement it actually is what we've been waiting for. That this time it's an announcement of Uchi Hiroki's return to the group. We foolishly waited for it when they were announcing something on the radio, but in the end that was just a drama. Admittedly it was pretty big because it was Murakami and Shibutani and it's been ages since they did some drama acting (not counting the three Kanjani8 dramas).

We've waited for it for so long. Everytime we've heard something about "surprise" or "announcement" our thoughts and hopes immediately wander off to Uchi Hiroki. Because that's what we want, that's what we've been wishing for for more than two years now. Uchi Hiroki's return to Kanjani8 (along with Kusano Hironori's to NEWS) is what I've been ranting about so many times. So many times I've thought this and that have made sense, and it would be great to put the guys back about "now". Of course this is just like that, just like all those other times I think that this time it definitely makes sense.

I wrote it in this post, that September would be quite a good month. My focus back then was on the 8th of August 2008, but even so I mentioned that September would make sense and I still stand by it.

Right now there are some things that I'd like to think support my theory, but they might just be coincidenses. A lot of them probably are, but in a way this would make sense.
- the single announcement that apparently happened, hasn't been made official yet.
- the concert ends in August and for September they only have so much work.
- Uchi Hiroki is completely removed from the official website.

I know that the third one might seem worrying for some of you, and I'd lie if I'd say I didn't freak out first time I noticed it a week or so ago. But now I've thought more about it and it would actually make sense. After all, Kanjani8 are still listed to appear in magazines. Kanjani8 are still listed on the website and if, if Uchi is returning to the group, then he is returning to the group and his name wouldn't appear solo. His birthday isn't up there either. Johnny's calendar lists everyone's birthday, debuted and juniors. But Uchi's is not there - which isn't something I'd say is a bad thing. He's not very active at the moment, he is - like someone said - in some kind of limbo. In my opinion that's a good thing. I'd hate for him to fall down to actual junior status again.

Again, I'm not claiming this will happen or something, but hope is said to be the last thing in life we all lose, isn't it? We've waited for so long - the guys have waited for so long - if we would have to, would we not wait a bit longer? Surely I speak for everyone when I say that, yes we would. ♥

First off. Anyone has a "Playzone 2007" folder laying around? With pictures and videos and stuff? Because guess what. I lost mine. Yup, LOVELY STUFF. So. Other than that. Everything I ever said about NEWS being 8 this year? Forget about it. It won't happen. Sorry to say - or well, I'm not really - but it won't.

I was bored earlier, was surfing around the web and stumbled over Nottiboy's japanese wikipedia. I don't get why anyone hasn't talked about this before, but anyway. According to wikipedia (and Japanese wikipedia itself is a very reliable source) who says according to one of the JJ issues earlier this year, since April 13th 2008 Nottiboy is studying song, dance and English in New York. It will go on for a year and thus he is on hiatus.
If you wanna believe this or not, that's up to you. But it's very reliable and thus I choose to believe it and there we go. He won't get back until April next year, which means NEWS won't be 8 people before that.

If you ask me, I'm happy about this. I'm really, really happy about it. And not because it's still some 8 months away, because man I hate waiting, but now we know. Maybe I'm just slow, maybe I just haven't paid attention, but before tonight I didn't know for sure about this. All I ever heard was that people heard he went to the states and they heard he went in February or March. Looks like he went in April.
Now we know he will be back in Japan in April. Maybe active in May. Now we know and correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd say it's better to know than to sit around and guess and guess and wait without knowing for sure.

Kanjani8 could still happen of course, I don't know. And in a way it would make sense too, but if it will happen then Johnny will have to talk about NEWS too and... well. If I'd be Johnny, I'd avoid it for a little bit longer. But I'm not and old man is weird so who knows.

Aside from that... If NEWS goes back to the normal standard schedule... That would mean.
October -> January -> April -> July, for their upcoming single release months. But it could also be, if they continue to be a bit behind everything. October -> February -> May. And that later one makes more sense, because it is NEWS after all. It's NEWS and if we know NEWS right, at least one member will have a drama winter 2009. And they will have a tour winter 08/09. Though of course the schedule will change if they decide to release that album, but with the Tegomasu album coming up I doubt there will be room for that. Hm~
But anyway. My point is... that if they decide to wait a bit longer?

January - Concert tour + 1 or 2 members drama

No, I don't know. That's just me making things up all the time, have to remember that Kanjani8 will be doing things as well. But you know, all of this make sense. What I want to point out is that the whole single schedule actually makes sense.

It's been a while since I did a post like this, haha. ^^; Because I haven't had much to write about, but when at work I think a lot and then this was posted and it just made me think a bit more. Remember that this is just my personal thoughts and ponderings though, nothing official. So don't hold it against me if it doesn't end up true.

2008.08.08 would be a magical number for Kanjani8. This whole year is kind of special to that group so everyone thinks that it's special for them. They also released their 8th single this year. But Kanjani8 aren't the only ones for who this is a special year. In September it's five years ago since NEWS formed.

If the rumour about Ryo (and Ninomiya, which would make sense since it's been a while) in another drama is true... That means a pretty calm autumn for NEWS and K8, which is kinda weird if you ask me. NEWS can still release a single of course - they should - but what about K8? Well. Of course, they just had two tours, but they can't another one. That means it'd be really calm for both groups with just a dvd (NEWS) and a single each this year. Possibly a dvd later one for K8 as well.
I don't know. I just think that it sounds weird. I don't dislike the idea, I like it a lot in fact. Because it would fit into this schedule I've made up in my head to.

If I get things my way, Uchi it will be announced the 8th of August or at the end of the tour (which ends 31st of August, so if on this day it would happen in September) that he will rejoin. Then for him to settle down and make the fans happy and all, he would just be in there and release singles for the rest of the year. At some point (same time?) he (and Kusano) would rejoin NEWS as well. And just go with the new releases and then next year start off with a NEWS tour.
To take it slow after someone rejoined would make sense, imo.

I know a lot of people are losing faith in NEWS. And Kusano, because he's not here. And I understand that but just like I and nyagcpinkuneko have said before, it's really weird how NEWS are being handled right now. All members get things to do and all, so they're all busy. But NEWS as a group is barely pushed at all. Except for "Taiyou no Namida" - who only got so much promotion thanks to Kurosagi - they are barely promoted these days. They've got a CM or something, but that's all. It's almost four months since their last single and another one hasn't been released so they won't get one any time soon either. It's weird. NEWS got such a chance to get back to the spotlight after the scandals, and they were pushed and promoted a lot but then everyone knew they were back and after that it just... faded. Not at all so pushed as they used to be. And compared to 2005 this is nothing - even I know that and I wasn't even around back then. It's all really weird.
They talked about the "new NEWS" as just six people, but they've done close to nothing to promote the group as such. It was like a re-debut for them and yet they got close to nothing special. This way one will never forget those two who used to be in the group and fans won't settle with them being gone (though NEWS fans go with it easier than Kanjani8 fans) but most importantly, no one will be convinced that NEWS with just six members is final.

Because it's not. I really, really doubt that it is. And Kanjani8 won't go on much longer without Uchi returning, I know they won't. They're a group like that. Remember what they said about not releasing anything after "Kanfuu Fighting" if Uchi wouldn't return? Yeah, and still we got "Zukkoke Otokomichi" four months later. I'm pretty sure something was discussed and decided.

I know a lot of people don't believe the rumour about Uchi and Kusano in Osaka during NEWS' tour, but I do. It would make sense. Johnny is often with the guys on tour - especially the younger groups and if there is one group that needs that right now (and then) it's NEWS - so he was backstage. Julie was probably there too and what would that mean? That all of NEWS, Johnny and Julie would have been at the same place at the same time. You'd have to be a fool to think that some discussing didn't happen.

I don't want to say that something will happen or give people false hope, but this really makes a lot of sense to me. If Ryo would get something to do this autumn, it would mean a calm period for K8 and NEWS - which is exactly what would/should happen if the guys would rejoin. The months afterwards should be calm. Maybe it's all just one hell of a coincidence though, who knows.

It still would make a lot of sense.
